This SG is one of a kind. Not sure of the exact model as in the early 70s all of the Pro and Deluxe models were all over the place, but I was able to date it back to between 70-74 thanks to the serial on the back.
This thing shreds. I just got it back from the luthier who set it up and put a new ABR bridge on it. This is by far the most fun neck on any guitar I've ever played. SUPER slim. These modified dog ear p90s absolutely bark. I'm also able to get huge fat tones from the neck position.... more

I believe this is a 1974 although I'm not certain. When I  bought this it had an issue. Someone had painted it. So I sent it to the shop and they took out all the paint and got it back to its original surface. It does need a new waterslide and that is something you can order from Gibson directly or here on eBay.
Also the tuning keys are a bit tight as in the need to be lubricated. They turn fine and don't affect the tuning but its a little stiff.

On offer is a vintage early 1970's Japan-import Epiphone Dreadnaught Acoustic FT-145 Texan guitar project. The Serial # is a six digit sequence and is '440586'. The exact dating of Japanese Epiphones is somewhat uncertain but this guitar has the early Blue label inside the soundhole as described in the following extract, with 'Made in Japan' printed on the label, indicating the guitar was made between 1972 and 1975

Nice quality Japanese built guitar from the late 1970s to early 1980s the Golden era for Japanese guitar making. Built by the Kiso Suzuki Violin Company it is a very decent stratocaster. American standard quality at half the price. Not much information on these as they were produced only for the Japanese domestic market so they are rare in the rest of the world. The Sakai Les Paul replica electric guitar from the 1970s was produced in Japan, and information regarding these instruments is scarce: however, it is believed that they served as a 'house brand' for F W Woolworth (Woolco) department stores. While it shows some signs of wear, as depicted in the photos, it remains fully functional. I recently cleaned it and replaced the strings.
