Made in mid-late 70s??. Sounds incredible because of its age. Only thing done to this guitar is the pickup system that kinda still works, crackling sound when you plug in a guitar cord. You??re looking at a 1978 Celestion G12M Blackback 12?? Speaker for REPAIR. The speakers cone, spider, coil and magnet are in good physical shape Its missing the magnet cover though. The speaker tested with a multimeter produce the correct impedance. However, the cone has seized because the magnet shifted and speaker needs REPAIR. Sold as is.

Beautifully restored 1970 Harmony H159, the poorman's Birch version of the vaunted Sovereign Jumbo 1260
It shows some minor finish scuffs, but overall,   it looks fantastic.
The neck has been reset with hot hide glue, but all the brace work etc was done with titebond. I find this to be the best combination. It allows for the possibility of neck removal at some point in the distant future if necessary. Action is right on with plenty of saddle for future adjustments.

So, going by the serial number, it appears that it was the first run of the model in 1977 and it points to 3rd March of that year. I may be wrong on that though so we will just say it is a 1977 model

Very wonderful example of a Jedson Les Paul from the lawsuit era

These were superior copies as can be seen in the construction (rounded edge fingerboard etc) and powerful humbuckers (think this is loaded with Maxons). Both rate at around 11 80k so have got some poke.

A few minor bumps and scratches but nothing major. Overall very clean and all original apart from the black / gold speed knobs which look pretty cool. Better than the originals and easier to use. Nicely ... more

It sounds absolutely ace for someone trying to nail a gritty 1970s overdrive sound. Lots of versatility with uber cool retro look and feel. All dials light up.

Japanese made in the 1970's as part of Yamaha's "Super Bass" series, the SB-600 was a mid-range model aimed at competing with Fender's Jazz Bass. Solid Nato body with a three-tone sunburst finish, maple neck with a walnut skunk stripe (34" scale, 44mm nut width, 20 frets), it weighs 4 2kg's. Made in the 1970's, Founder was a sister brand to Yamaki and Joodee and produced guitars mainly sold within Japan. A basic Stratocaster model with similarities to a Greco SE-500, this Founder model has a solid body with a maple neck and maple fingerboard and weighs 3 7kg's. Classic Japanese built mid to late 1970's Les Paul. Looks great and is in very good condition for it's age. No structural flaws and it plays fantastic with a nice low, buzz free action. The pickups really scream with distortion and the guitar has a killer piercing tone for garage / punk rock. Really nice rosewood fretboard that plays slick and fast.
