1957 Gibson Les Paul Special Yellow TV with Original Chipboard Case
THIS IS A GORGEOUS GUITAR!!! There is only very minor signs of wear for the age but no signs of repairs or excessive use.
I am not the original owner so I do not know the history of any restoration - however, it looks original with original chipboard case

Old case in need of some restoration. All latches and hinges work. Sold as needing repairs. Handle is broken. Some of the rim is damaged and small sections torn off. Bottom on lower bout has separations (see pic 5). Tested with a single cutaway JR and a double cut Special.

This is a Genuine & Original 1960 Gibson Les Paul Special DC Cherry Double Cut electric guitar.
I bought this several years ago from The Joseph Kaye workshop in London and he had sourced it and done the work on it He is well known and well regarded for his "vintage" work

* has minor stress cracks in cutaways=check last 2 pics
* neck was shaved and made a bit slender by previous owner=NOT a chunky neck profile anymore
* neck binding removed on both sides=nut width is just about 41 mm
* ALL ORIGINAL PARTS HAVE BEEN CHANGED OUT OVER THE YEARS
* old mahogany=TONE
* add your choice of pickups & this semi-retired rocker will be ready to ... more
