We are selling this previously owned Vintage Fender Champion Lap Steel 6 String Guitar Yellow Pearl that is in good physical and working condition with some scuffs and scratches from normal use and age. This Lapsteel guitar comes in its original case which as you can see is in rough condition and with one broken latch. It seems as if the pick up was changed but i am not sure about that but we uploaded pictures. This item comes as shown in pictures.

Very good condition 1956 lap steel with original case. Everything works as it should. All original except for the knobs (genuine Fender replacements) and the rubber feet. I will throw in two steel bars.

These are legs that I make for Fender lap steels , Studio Deluxe , White by Fender , Fender Professional , Fender Deluxe 8 and Stringmaster . They are black and somewhat lighter that the original chrome ( that I can also make ) . I use a set of these everytime I play and they work just fine . Fender Quad ??Stringmaster?? Pedal Steel Guitar! This is a rare instrument I inherited back in the late 1990??s. Removing tuner pans may be the only to date these Stringmasters. I confirmed on removal of all four tuner pans to find it was built in September 1955 with serial # 00477. A second number 30 is also visible on some of the necks which may indicate a batch or production run however not sure. I??ve just had this very nice Fender Champ come in, complete with original case. I??ve yet to have a look at the pot codes but I??m tentatively saying this is a 1970s model. It??s in really good condition - a few scuffs and yellowing of the blonde finish, but overall very nice. The inner compartment door inside the case doesn??t stay closed for some reason, but other than that the case is also in great shape. Up for sale we have this beautiful early 1950s Fender Stringmaster Triple 8. It??s a long scale model in a very nice burst finish.
It has the original tweed case and legs, and the cloth wiring looks all original too. The case is certainly showing it??s age, with areas where the tweed and leather has worn through - but the console itself is in excellent shape with general wear as to be expected from this vintage, and all the electronics working as they should be. Up for sale is this early 50??s Fender Dual 6 Pro. This has clearly been a workhorse in its life so far, with what looks like a black refin over the original Walnut finish. There??s plenty of paint chips and dings (I believe the guitar marketing term is ?mojo??) and for some reason there have been 3 holes drilled through the bottom of one of the tuning pans. Functionally everything works fine - the trap pickups sound clear as a bell, and while the pots do have some minor scratchiness they work. ... more

To the best of my knowledge, this is an all original 50's / 60's Fender Studio Deluxe - basically a thicker bodied Champ with legs. Sorry I can't provide a specific date as there was no consistent pattern to the serial numbers as far as I can tell, but if you're willing to do some research, the serial number of the control plate is 6585
