This is a very special all original 1964 Epiphone Sorrento! I got this from the original owner in Mississippi. Original grey case in excellent condition. The neck is a perfect medium size with a nice depth which isn't too thin like a lot of 60's guitars. Feels just like my vintage sheraton. Not a re-issue!! I purchased this guitar from a seller onReverb. He purchased a number of 1960??s Hofners Club 40 guitars in the late1970??s and had them ever since. Got the year 1962 on this one from the Hofnersite. It could possibly be a 1963 however I do not think they were continuedinto ?63. I believe this is a 1974 although I'm not certain. When I  bought this it had an issue. Someone had painted it. So I sent it to the shop and they took out all the paint and got it back to its original surface. It does need a new waterslide and that is something you can order from Gibson directly or here on eBay.
Also the tuning keys are a bit tight as in the need to be lubricated. They turn fine and don't affect the tuning but its a little stiff.
