Here's a nice vintage 1966 Hofner 12 in above player condition. Sounds and plays nice. Truss rod has been replaced and operates smoothly. Three ferrules are missing where the tuning post comes up through the headstock. I'm Spring cleaning so I'll include them if I find them. Photos show the dings and scrapes with the law after 53 years on the planet. Original condition except for replaced truss rod, missing ferrules and an added strap button that has since broken off

This is my trusty Höfner Senator Acoustic Archtop Guitar - I??ve been it??s proud owner for several years now. I bought it from an independent vintage guitar shop in Gullane, East Lothian.

This vintage Hofner President archtop guitar is being sold for a friend whose husband owned it before he passed.
Crafted in 1958, it still rings nicely, especially with the Hofner compensator holding the ball end of the strings. Please look carefully at the pictures as the D string strip is slightly bent - but has little impact on tone.

Very minor scratching and dings are highlighted on the pictures, otherwise a good, honest vintage guitar.

This is in tremendous condition for a guitar from 1954. Plays and sounds great, and had a full refret last year by McIntyre Guitars in Edinburgh. Structurally sound, loads of minor dinks - there is a small hole drilled at the back of the headstock (pictured) - I can't figure out what it was for. Also evidence that there was a floating neck pickup fitted to the end of the neck at some point
All in all, this is a great guitar - looks, sounds and plays just like it should

Realy nice Hofner 1959 guitar made in Germany. Sounds and plays great. The guitar is all original except the wood bridge. I Have the original bridge which will be in the case. I just prefer the one that's on there. Its a rare guitar . The body and neck are in great condition. The pickup sounds great . The pot that is in there is a little scratchey. For 60 years of age it is in remarkable condition. There are some scratches, in fact quite a few all around the body. Cosmetic and with the nicely darkened laquer they give the instrnent this wonderfull patina. Around the side srew of the pick guard is a little touched up area and on the backside bottom edge where the ornamentel inlay ends is a tiny patch of dopped out laquer.
