Very early made in Japan Kingston 670 bass, single pickup tele style headstock. very cool looking instrument, comes in it??s originally purchased with the bass EZ-Pak Hard case. Generally this base is in good condition especially for the age. There are some small chips and dings, you have to hunt for them, the most frequent are some odd impressions on the side of the neck near the fretboard as if they??re fret markers but they clearly are not. This Maier bass was made by Teisco / Guyatone and would have been branded under many different names and models such as Kent Basin St Bass / 534 / 634, Noble Big Beat B315 Super Rocket Bass, Lafayette, Sekova titan, etc.

I bought this bass last year from a Japanese music shop. I modified the body to house Bartolini Rickenbacker 400x pickups. The body has a few dings, chips and scratches but no crack. The neck has minor chips and scratches but no cracks or gouges. The trussrod moves freely and the frets are in good condition, none of them are dead or dented. The bass comes with the original tuners, pickguard, bridge, pots, knobs, switch, strap buttons, and switch cap. I will include a pickguard that I made for it... more
