This came from a similar matching set of a PE and Tri-Sound TSB-550 that was given to Neal Schon from Aria Company, Made by framed Matsumoku Factory, Japan. Designed by Mr. Hayashi for a possible endosement, Aria Pro II PE-NS Guitar.

I completely disassembled, cleaned, lubed?? every part of this amazing 1984 Matsumoku Aria pro ii medium scale bass. The Alder body was stripped down to virgin wood, sealed and I did a sunburst finish with Belhem lacquer toners followed by satin nitrocellulose lacquer. Very nice RSB model from Aria Pro made in Japan. This bass is medium scale ( 32 inch ) and is all original except two of the tuners. Truss rod and electronics work perfectly and sounds great. Heavily modified Aria Pro II Thor Sound, TSB-550, made in Japan in the 80??s

This bass has a repaired cracked body (see last 2 pictures) and now it??s great, but it was also re-painted, re-fretted, have new inlays, and the pickup was replaced.
The nitrocellulose lacquer paint job is pretty decent, although is not perfect ( as seen with the reflection of the light) and feels a bit uneven to the touch on the back of the body.

This is a left handed Aria Pro 11 electric bass guitar, with a case, that I bought in the mid Nineties.
The plan was to learn bass for the band that I was in but that never happened. It has subsequently been sat in its case in my music room since then and only periodically plucked. It??s never been out of the house and I??m sure it would love a new life, being used for the job it was made for.

The vintage 'Laser Electric' model from Aria Pro II was made in the Matsumoku factory in Japan, and was only produced in 1985 and 1986. I bought this new in 1986 and I would describe the condition as good.
