This came from a similar matching set of a PE and Tri-Sound TSB-550 that was given to Neal Schon from Aria Company, Made by framed Matsumoku Factory, Japan. Designed by Mr. Hayashi for a possible endosement, Aria Pro II PE-NS Guitar.

Fast neck. Great player. This is from the SB (Super Bass) range (77-83) though you would be hard pressed to know it from the overall condition. Other than the wear in the finish (you can see it in the pic) the bass is close to immaculate. "Bat Wing" headstock
I bought it with a gig bag & thats all I have . It was shipped to me that way . In a soft case in a guitar box stuffed with lots of cardboard & it was fine .

I completely disassembled, cleaned, lubed?? every part of this amazing 1984 Matsumoku Aria pro ii medium scale bass. The Alder body was stripped down to virgin wood, sealed and I did a sunburst finish with Belhem lacquer toners followed by satin nitrocellulose lacquer. Frets leveled, dressed and buffed to a jewelry shine. Rosewood fretboard cleaned and oiled

The P-bass is an Ariana 4 string, have it listed at $75 OBO the jack aux is not functioning, but is easily fixable at a shop, sounds good and has new strings and working knobs just need to fix the six jack to connect to an amp. Have the hard case listed for $200 due to it being broken on the head part of the case because of airport transportation service. Lovely Aria pro 11 csb 380
The bass has been refinished in gloss black professionally as the band I was I required this colour and was fitted with a Roland Gk pickup so the screw holes have been filled and flatted also the pickup is painted silver, other than that it??s completely original and in stunning condition, I have priced it to reflect the refinish, it??s a great bsss and sounds sick!

Heavily modified Aria Pro II Thor Sound, TSB-550, made in Japan in the 80??s

This bass has a repaired cracked body (see last 2 pictures) and now it??s great, but it was also re-painted, re-fretted, have new inlays, and the pickup was replaced.
The nitrocellulose lacquer paint job is pretty decent, although is not perfect ( as seen with the reflection of the light) and feels a bit uneven to the touch on the back of the body.
