This is as nice as it gets. Just holding this guitar is an experience.
Original frets show no wear. Neck is straight
The chrome is all beautiful. The original paint is all beautiful.
There is very nice grain that shows in all directions
Even the vintage Kluson's look new
Local pickup is ok if you want to save some money. I live in Brentwood, California in San Joaquin county. But if you pick it up I can't accept PayPal.

Vintage Kay Speed Demon Guitar Neck. Neck is "TRUETONE" branded which is Western Auto. Neck is pretty straight by Vintage Kay standards. I got the truss rod nut to screw in and out a little but the adjustment nut is in terrible condition and will need to be replaced (it's almost impossible to get a socket on it). Kay Speed Demon electric guitar pickguard for 3 pickup guitar from the 1960s. It looks like it belongs on a K573 but the upper right curve is slightly different. This is a really nice vintage Kay made Guitar. This does have some play wear. The tuners are also changed with some very good quality tuners. Some checking on the back of neck This guitar does play, and the electronics are working. comes with chip board case. sold as is but is a very nice guitar.

This is a confirmed 1964 Kay tailpiece that came from a Kay Speed Demon. Correct for earlier or later 1960's too. Could be used effectively for other Kay archtop models as well. Quality tailpiece for an archtop, with no issues. Chrome plating is very good condition

1960??s cherry red with cream binding, Kay K561 Speed Demon Archtop Electric Acoustic Guitar - made in USA. All original and in great condition. Very straight neck. Volume and tone pots and pickup working perfectly and provide a beautiful, rich, resonant sound that you can only get from an older instrument
