Stunning 1955 TV model Junior body re finished by Clive brown, the face of headstock is original. Comes in tatty original gator case but the handle is broken. Non original music city bridge . Looks to have had a refret and the nut isnt original. When the restoration was done the bridge posts were deepened so no lean which is a common thing. In 1965 Vox Musical Instruments created the Vox Mando Guitar, sometimes known as the Octave Twelve
Here we have the earliest commercial example of this Mando Guitar from 1966 with the metal wrap-around pick guard and tail-piece, these were only manufactured in the UK. The later version was a slightly different design in this respect and Vox eventually moved production of these to the EKO factory in Italy. A lovely old vintage Gibson case for an old jazz guitar perhaps a super 400 , L-5 or Byrdland ? It has a Johnny smith sticker on it but this is a 50??s case. It has some sort of light overspray but is solid , the handle is wooden. Has the Gibson badge and pink lining . Some text in the case which is hard to read . A rare case for your old Gibson .

Selling my Ibanez Artist 2618 from 1976, which is the first year they were made
Mahogany body and maple top with comfort carve
Beautiful 70s style guitar, ebony board, abalone inlays, gold hardware(worn), 24 frets, .Gibson scale length, much sought after flying Fingers pickups
Misprinted truss rod cover, don't know if that's rare but it says "Artis" .
Great sounding guitar, haven't weighed but I'd guess around 8lbs

These were taken off my old ?63 335 which had other grovers fitted before so I put the grovers back on as it had the holes drilled already . Some are slightly bent but work great . Comes with bushings and screws .

4 / 4 Hofner 378 Flamenco serial 3633 Acoustic Guitar 1955 / 6 model This was the first model of this series made in late 1955 early 1956 and can be identified by the Hofner mark on the front is stamped in rather than been a waterslide sticker. (My Uncle bought this new in 1956 he said) He also said they used far better woods in the early models up until 1959

I am scaling back my musical instrument and amp collection, as I??m playing more acoustically these days.

This has been in my barn for years amongst a lot of other stuff
I have not cleaned 1 inch of it so it??s being sold with all the dust and muck on it.
It measures 21 and a quarter inches long
The drum measures 6 and a quarter inch??s diameter and with the casing it measures 7 5 inches diameter
No damage to the skin but the casing is starting to warp on the underside ( pictured)
Quite a heavy little instrument.
