This is an authentic 1979 US Strat that I have just had restored by the best guitar tech in Oxford, including a complete rewire. The work that has been done is listed in the final photograph. If it looks relic'd that's because it has been played for decades: the vintage look reflects its vintage!

Stunning 1968 Yamaha SA-15D, as used by Link Wray. Fabulous sounding and playing guitar. Refretted about three years ago at NoTom workshop in Denmark Street, and comes with the original (cracked) pick guard and a custom-made reproduction cream pick guard.
