A nice survivor. Solid condition with no damage. Some fisish wear and the need for good cleaning and polishing of desired. I did not attempt either myself. I did put new strings on it. This is a rare bird . A 1966 Fender 1x15 Extension Cabinet. Presumably, to be mated with a Vibroverb / Pro, or whatever .
It is missing the top back panel, and has a few extra holes in it, but is otherwise original. The original (I'm reasonably certain it's original, the date code of 220609 certainly lines up) Jensen speaker works as it should and actually sounds pretty good. This is a lovely sunburst 1967 / 8 Levin LN-26 Goliath Acoustic guitar in excellent original condition. As to be expected for a guitar this age there are small dents and scratches & lacquer crazing. It appears to have a pickup fitted but I haven??t had a chance to test it. There is a line around the heel which you can see in photos. I believe is wood shrinkage rather than a hairline crack. Kay K1160 parlour, made in USA around 1966, sunburst. These old Kay instruments are super cute, and they certainly have a bit of midcentury swagger. This one is a pretty simple parlour style acoustic, with a snazzy sunburst finish and a musical note stencil where you might usually get a pickguard. It's got a snarly, bluesy voice that's fun for fingerstyle stuff especially, although it strums well.
