Up for sale is a fantastic and incredible sounding 1977 Marshall JMP 100 Watt 2203 head. This 2203 head sounds amazing and aside from a finicky power switch light bulb it functions great. Made by the Fujigen factory in 1977, the EG-700 was a mid-tier model from the Greco catalog and is mostly notable for being one of the heavier models in their range (with this one weighing just over 4 5kg's). Pancake mahogany body with a maple top, slim 60's neck profile with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (44mm nut width). Full Gibson aesthetic with an open book headstock and split-trap inlay, it's built with a mahogany body, maple top, slim 60's neck profile, a bound rosewood fingerboard and weighs a reasonable 4 2kg's. Loaded with original Maxon branded humbuckers, Greco branded tuners and Japanese hardware, it looks to have had the bridge / tailpiece changed at some point along with four brand new Alpha pots.... more
