1987 Greco SPF-55 Device with Spirit Energy
When I bought this guitar I was told it was a Greco neck on a Fender Contemporary body made in Japan
I had no real reason to believe it wasn??t a genuine Fender Contemporary body because of the shape and amenities of the guitar, specially the Fender adjustable bridge
When I got it in I disassembled the guitar to find the neck and body have the same model number stamped on them, so that threw me off

Last year for Matsumoku guitars, this 1987 Spectrum 2 showcases their build for a shredding superstrat guitar. Very low action and heavy metal tone Is just what the doctor ordered. A great player with several bumps and chips as shown in pics but just cosmetic. Very little fretwear on neck. Missing Allen wrenches, locking nut blocks and screws and no trem arm. An absolute rock and roll classic. This Marshall JMP50 model 1987 from 1973 recently received routine maintenance and is in great condition. It retains the original transformers and most of its desirable mustard caps. This is a vintage guitar neck from an Aria Pro II RS Road Warrior electric guitar, believed to date from 1987
It was bought and imported from Japan to replace the damaged neck on a 1986 version I was restoring
But on this one the fretboard has an overlap of around half a centimetre at the bottom of the neck, so the neck bolt holes did not match on the 1986 body as the original neck does not have the same overlap
That is why I am dating this as 1987 onwards, and have checked images ... more

Here we have my Marshall 1987x including the Lead 1960 cabinet which comes with an amp cover and the head comes with the original box plus all the servicing receipts, the tubes have been changed in the past not on my end- done professionally. Great condition, all mounting pins are present and correct and it has a nice amount of wear so won??t look out of place on a vintage head, if you want a comparison shot of this against a modern logo just ask, the difference in color is very noticeable when side by side!
The pin spacing on this is 4-3 / 4" between the outer pins - this is the later pin spacing which marshall used between 1969 and 1975 and is NOT interchangeable with the ... more

+ red interior, plush was partly ripped out at bottom and neck support to fit a different guitar
