I had this bass for a little over a year, I just never fell in love with it. It looks great, plays great, sounds great, but it's just not for me
This is a pretty rare bass. Only made from 1972-73. Some people say it was never released in USA, only internationally. There are other basses, the SB-30 and SB-50, and some guitars. Here we have a lovely Vintage Yamaha BB450 is a Copper Red finish. These were one of the earliest BB models produced and is very similar to the BB-VII, but was likely renamed and partially changed for the North American market
The serial dates it at 1983 and despite a vast majority of these models being made in Taiwan, this one in particular was made in Japan giving it a unique bit of flair
