It was designed for the smaller DeArmond "S-Grille" pickups, not the larger "Mustache" pickups that appeared in the later 1960s. The center piece (section between pickups) is 2-1 / 4" wide. This guitar is in pretty decent shape given its age. It has some bumps and nicks here and there as many of these old acoustics do. No cracks or splits as far as I can tell. A previous owner must have written their name with permanent marker on the lower backside of the body as pictured. I have never tried to remove this as I'm not exactly sure how to safely remove it without affecting the original finish. The strings are old and will probably need replaced to your liking. Headstock looks great with a few nicks and dings. Frets and fretboard look to be in killer shape, hardly any signs of use. Here is an original Harmony Sovereign acoustic guitar from 1964. Model H1260. This is the same guitar than the one Jimmy Page used to record Stairway to heaven. The are known for their rich, complex and deep tone. The parts are all originals but someone customized the pickguard with the letter «FL». Stella Harmony guitar, 1960`s? Been round the block a few times with various scratches and dings but solidly built with no issues. The neck is dead straight with a built-in truss rod and the action at the 12th fret is a very comfortable 2 mm so very playable. It projects well for a parlour sized guitar and has that `boxy' sound which is ideal for blues picking. No scratch plate, but it looks better without.
