Of course, for one-fifth the price there are a FEW differences. Only 16?? instead 17?? as for the ES 350. And it IS a Harmony and NOT a Gibson. Those Gibson P-13 pups were eventually replaced over in Kalamazoo by the new P-90 and farmed out to other companies. I bought this from the original owner a few years ago. It has a stock Gibson P-13 pickup and plays and sounds fantastic. The 12th Fret in Portland did a fret-dress and setup, and replaced the broken / worn out tuners with new exact matches. The tuners and end pin are the only non-original parts. Very nice all original 1965 Harmony-made ??Rocket?? with the Montgomery Wards Airline brand and the insanely cool diamond cutouts on the pickup covers. And the pups are the insanely cool Dearmond-Rowes (of course!), which more commonly sport gold foil appointments. This guitar and its original case are time capsules. The original stencil artwork looks as it did when new in 1954. Case does have a little wear around one of the edges, and there is a puncture as shown in the picture. Other than that, the case is an amazing condition. And the coloring is superb for being 75 years old. the guitar has a few nicks and scratches in a couple places as I've shown in the pictures, but in general, it is an outstanding example of the first year. Travel back in time with this classic electric guitar. Built by the late great Harmony Company in Chicago, Illinois in early 1965, it's a Harmony Silhouette, model H15. This same model is better known as a Bobkat, which it was renamed as in about 1968.
The four CTS potentiometers have matching date codes (137-6448 for December 1964). The DeArmond Rowe control plate is date stamped January 27, 1965. So, it is from the very heart of the Beatles' inspired Great Guitar Boom

Just got set up by a luthier with Nickel-Bronze 10s, plays and sounds phenomenal! String height is pretty nice (last pic)
Only repair needed was a very thin, 10cm long crack on the body needing to be glued and reinforced (second to last photo), but thankfully that's all there was to fix by the luthier (almost all of these guitars need a neck reset : this one didn't!)
