You are looking at a Gibson ES-295 arch-top guitar from 1952 with the original hard shell case . This guitar (and case) is in very good shape, and plays nice. Everything is original except the pick guard and bracket. The back of the neck and headstock were refined by the previous owner in the 1980's. The color was matched really well. The action is 3 / 32" at the 12th fret, the fret ends are smooth, the neck shows perfect relief and is steel reinforced. The finish appears original but I do not guarantee that. This will need at least a tailpiece and bridge. Has a decent bit of wear but no cracks. It would benefit from a neck reset. Strung up the bridge had to be all the way low to be comfortably playable. Truss rod works and neck is straight. Frets show typical wear. Fon stamped inside. End of fretboard is starting to seperate at body side.
