This guitar needs a neck reset and the truss rod works great. The neck slopes down a bit where it meets the body and the Brazilian rosewood? fingerboard separates slightly as it needs a neck reset. Circa 1980'S Guild G37M in excellent originalcondition. The M stands for Mahagany finished back and sides. The guitar plays easily and has a loud, bluegrass friendly sound. It had some finish flaking on back of the neck, which I had professionally touched up. In excellent, near-mint condition. The headstock logo is pristine, the rare vintage 3-on-a-side Gotoh tuners work smoothly. Very nice 1976 Guild D25M dreadnought in well-played but solid condition. All original. Solid spruce top and mahogany sides, but I think the backs of these were laminate to hold up to the pressed arch Guild used (instead of flat and braced). It's NOW TIME!! The sad day I have to let this go. The seriel number dates the guitar to 1953. It plays great, the neck is smooth and easy to navigate. The tuning pegs are excellent, but I would replace the pegs. I bought the guitar from a Blue grass Guitar shop in Asheville NC in 2011. It feels great to play it and it sounds like heaven.
