Vintage guitars for sale: Guild acoustic guitars

This is a clean guitar. It's not mint. It does have some light scratchiness and some graininess in the finish. By graininess, I mean that you can feel the grain of the wood in some areas, most notably on the spruce top on the lower treble bout. I guess they used a very light coat of finish. The action is on the high side. I measured slightly over 1 / 8 of an inch from the top of the 14th fret to the bottom of the 6th string. And the saddle is low. Rare 1979 Guild D25 in a antique burst finish from the famed Westerly Rhode Island plant. Overall she is in very good shape with only light cosmetic wear. Super solid guitar. The color is what I would call a tobacco burst. Very beautiful

Circa 1980'S Guild G37M in excellent originalcondition. The M stands for Mahagany finished back and sides. The guitar plays easily and has a loud, bluegrass friendly sound. It had some finish flaking on back of the neck, which I had professionally touched up. It's NOW TIME!! The sad day I have to let this go. The seriel number dates the guitar to 1953. It plays great, the neck is smooth and easy to navigate. The tuning pegs are excellent, but I would replace the pegs. I bought the guitar from a Blue grass Guitar shop in Asheville NC in 2011. It feels great to play it and it sounds like heaven. Great playing and sounding vintage guild. Could use some tlc but plays nicely and sounds great. Has a few open humidity cracks on the top and one open crack on back. Tuners were changed to kluson style grover deluxes. Truss rod works well. Frets are in decent shape but first few show wear. Pickguard was changed to a wooden of the same shape. Similar in shape to a 000, but with the body is deeper
One of the more simply adorned Guild acoustics with a spruce top, mahogany back, sides and neck. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlaid position markers and a 25 5" scale length
The finish has many scratches and dings with some wear around the sound-hole, but the guitar is structurally sound with no cracks

Solid Sitka spruce top with beautiful grain (check photos), solid mahogany back and sides. Some bumps and bruises and finish crazing as in photos. There are no cracks or crack repairs anywhere.
