Very nice 1976 Guild D25M dreadnought in well-played but solid condition. All original. Solid spruce top and mahogany sides, but I think the backs of these were laminate to hold up to the pressed arch Guild used (instead of flat and braced). It's NOW TIME!! The sad day I have to let this go. The seriel number dates the guitar to 1953. It plays great, the neck is smooth and easy to navigate. The tuning pegs are excellent, but I would replace the pegs. I bought the guitar from a Blue grass Guitar shop in Asheville NC in 2011. It feels great to play it and it sounds like heaven. There is a bit of body wear that can be seen in the pictures, and a crack that is running along the pickguard however that doesn't diminish the guitars great sound. Sitka spruce top, rosewood back and sides, with a solid mahogany neck, Fret board is slab ebony. Sound is crisp and loud. I'm a finger-picker, so the pickguard is more or less unblemished. Hasn't been used much in the last five years (arthritis), but was set up last year when I first thought of selling it
