Original Hofner Congress acoustic guitar from 1956-1957 in excellent condition, also comes with original 1950??s custom hard shell case.

Early Hofner Serial number: 3280.

No fret wear, barely been played.

This guitar is in remarkably good condition for being over 66 years old!

The action is a a little high but it??s still ok for playing basic chords.

A genuine 1960s acoustic guitar in excellent condition for its age, and still very playable with a nice action and good frets
Many guitarists started their journey with these guitars including the great Hank Marvin. They were decent quality and a lot cheaper than a Gibson, Fender etc. This is a real survivor, plenty of patina but no cracks or major marks

1958 Hofner Congress is a German-made, small-bodied (14 5 " -15 " ) archtop imported to the UK by Selmer, featuring a laminated maple body, 25 5" scale, and a chunky neck, serial number 5977
Featuring a sunburst finish, and are known for a "parlour" feel.
