Vintage guitars for sale: Hofner Violin bass

It is with much sadness that I am selling my beloved Hofner copy bass guitar. I am the original and only owner, having owned it since 1972. It is in excellent condition, with a beautiful scratch-free and blemish-free honey sunburst finish. The laminated neck plays effortlessly; the only modification I made was many years ago I added a small shim between the neck and the body to bring the strings a little closer to the fretboard. Up for sale is a Beautiful 1967 original Hofner Bass that is in Outstanding to New Condition (considering the guitar is 52 years old). The only imperfection on this guitar is the typical finish crack where the toe meets the neck because the finish is not able to attach to the glue. This is a common issue for earlier Hofner's as they age, but this imperfection has no negative effect on the integrity of the neck, or the performance of the guitar. A 1962 Violin Bass all original in a lovely playable condition that was imported by the Dutch distributors, The Van Wouw Company in around mid to late 1962. The two piece neck has the 1962 / 3 Hofner decal as well as the original strip tuners with the correct pegs upon it making it Very rare in this combination as is the exact same as McCartney's.
