FANTASTIC cosmetic and working condition!
No breaks, cracks or repairs.
The top-adjust bridge was first used on the Gibson Explorer II, ES-335 dot, and later the Victory MV2 and MV10 models, and although clearly a very well conceived piece of hardware, it does not seem to have gained the useage perhaps it deserved. Good condition. This bass was reportedly owned by the bassist from Mountain, but we have no documentation to confirm this. The Scott Moon dragon / dinosaur painting is fun. It apparently was painted in 1988 according to the signature. Comes with a non-original neck plate.

This a killer bass and a total P bass killer. Gibson released these to compete with the p bass and they are far, far, better quality. Mahogany body, Mable neck, brass nut, active and passive humbuckers with MOOG electronics! All original with the original case. This is an original 1981 USA made Gibson Victory Bass neck. Maple neck / rosewood fingerboard. There is a lot of wear, but the frets and fingerboard are in good shape for the age. Frets are low and skinny but that's the way these were made. Lots of nicks, wear, checking and visible wood joints on the headstock. These headstocks were made of 5 pieces of wood that were glued together. After time, you can see these wood joints, but it's not coming apart at all. Back of neck shows wear. Some nicks ... more

Excellent condition. Small ding on headstock ( as shown) and mark on back where the strap button was moved to temporarily ( as shown). Pickups upgraded to Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates.
