Teisco Model 14, made in Japan mid-60s, sunburst. This is a gorgeous vintage jazzbox, it's so cool. Teisco were a huge brand in Japan in the 60s, and while you see more of their solid body surf-adjacent models around, the full hollow stuff is really juicy. This one dates to somewhere in that decade, and has been modified quite a lot, but dang it's nice. Suzuki 160 Bowlback Mandolin, natural finish, made in Jaoan 1967. This is a very pretty little thing. Suzuki kicked off making violins in Japan in 1887, so they were many decades deep by the time their excellent craftsmen made this. It's in great shape for a 60ish year old instrument, both functionally and visually. The tone is lush: deep and rich with a gorgeous shimmering complexity. You won't see many of these around these days, so score a cool old thing while it's going.

Fits the first series BF Super Reverbs from 63 - 67 with the 24" square cabs only. Will not fit any Silver Face amps from late 67 onwards These things are very rare to find on their own, that is not with an amp. And I have only seen one in the last couple years sold in the USA for over $300AU I bought this one about 10 years ago from the USA

Beautiful and historic 1967-1972 made in Japan Yamaha hollowbody electric guitar. Top of the range SA-50 model (others were SA-30 and SA-20). Upmarket fretboard and headstock inlays. Sounds great and has low action. NEEDS A SERVICE AS NECK PICKUP HAS LOST CONTACT. Currently only the bridge pickup is working. Seems to just be a loose wire. No major damage or severe fret-wear.
Overall very pretty, with the cosmetic flaws of a relic. Missing vibrato bar.... more

Yamaha SB-2A, Coral Red, made in Japan1966. The Flying Samurai of guitars and basses were among Yamaha's first ever electric instruments.
