Here is the only real 1959 Gretsch 6119 currently available on the market, and it's all original and near mint! This is from the legendary first batch of bright red 6119s from early 1959. This has the ebony fretboard, original enamel Bigsby, brown headstock finish, and black heel cap. Those are all the signs of the earliest 6119s from '59. The only real flaw in this guitar (besides very honest play wear) is a repaired heel crack. This is fairly a fairly common repair in vintage SG guitars. Beautifully restored 1970 Harmony H159, the poorman's Birch version of the vaunted Sovereign Jumbo 1260
It shows some minor finish scuffs, but overall,   it looks fantastic.
The neck has been reset with hot hide glue, but all the brace work etc was done with titebond. I find this to be the best combination. It allows for the possibility of neck removal at some point in the distant future if necessary. Action is right on with plenty of saddle for future adjustments.

Up for sale is this Airline Tube Style Amplifier as shown ONLY - as seen in the above photos. This is in Tested & Working - USED Condition. This powers up and works but when the volume knob is moved is is a little scratchy sounding meaning this pot will require a cleaning! The tone knob works without issues!
