This is my very, very lovely 1977 Yamaha SF (Super Flighter) 1000 MiJ electric guitar. Released at the same time as the SG2000 series, this top of the range SF would have set you back around £350 in '77 (about £2800) in today's money. It oozes class.

This is a very rare Aria PE 800. You may know already that the Matsumoku -built PE series guitars are some of the most respected guitars made in Japan in this period and were used widely. The 800 is one of the higher range models

Regretfully I'm selling my lovely '78 Studio 105. The build quality of Ibanez guitars in the late 70s was excellent as I'm sure you already know. This one also comes with the original fitted case and even strap! (Photos of those to follow)

Fender Stratocaster E series Japan 1985. Black with maple fingerboard Refretted by crimson guitars in 2016. As you may be aware, the Westone Prestige was the flagship model of the Westone range from 1981-1985. This example is an earlier version of the range, the 150 and was built in the highly-respected Matsumoku factory.
It's in good generalcondition for a 41 year old, with just a few little knocks and fairly light buckle rash. Some of the lower frets are a little pitted but it's been checked over by a luthier who confirmed that it's perfectly playable and usual for an older guitar

Fender Japan Stratocaster E series 1985-89 Lake placid blue.
Fantastic playing guitar. Set up with daddario 10??s it plays fantastically, its really well worn in, though has some minor fret wear. The action is really low and there is no buzzing

Neck and middle pick ups are original and bridge pick up is a mid 90s Seymour Duncan single coil hum bucker. You could split this with a push pull tone pot if required but I??ve always found the versatility of this guitar to be ... more

I inherited this Hofner Senator archtop guitar from my father. He bought it in 1962 and looked after it meticulously and it had a professional set up so the action is low and very enjoyable to play. Super early 1956 Hofner Congress archtop jazz guitar in tobacco sunburst . Very rare to find such an early example in amazing condition and 100% original.

Barcley Maverick Guitar With New Hard Case MIJ Barclay Teisco
Very clean Barcley Maverick guitar from the late 60s / early 70s. Better quality than the Woolworths ply guitars, it's solid wood. All original pick ups and hardware. Before Fender Squier, there was Sunn Mustang. The best examples were the earlier Indian made models, which were hailed for their superior build quality. This is one of them, dated 1983. I??ve replaced the stock humbucker with an old Ibanez one, which sounds much warmer. The neck and bridge pickups are stock single coil, but have that classic Strat sound (think Hendrix). Great condition overall, but there??s a small ding on the bottom edge (visible on pic). Comes with a guitar bag.

Antique Rosewood Bowl Back Mandolin by G Puglisi Reale & Figli - Missing Parts. This is a wonderful antique mandolin made by the well regarded makers G Puglisi Reale & Figli. As can be seen in the photos, the instrument is not currently playable because it is missing the string pegs and the bridge needs to be refitted, obviously a new set of strings will also be needed.
