Super cool vintage, American-made Peavey bass in a rad, uncommon color. Serial number dates it as a 1981 model. To be pushing 50 years old, this thing is in really good condition. Some dings throughout from decades of use, but everything on it is functional. Includes original hard case, which is cool on its own.
If you know what these are, you??ll know it??s pretty heavy (roughly 10-12lbs). But it can handle anything from rock, country, worship, doom metal, etc

Vintage 1979 Peavey T-40 bass. Definitely a working man's bass, complete with dings and scuffs, plenty of character for a 45 year old bass. Electronics cleaned, both switches replaced, neck crack by tuner glued solid, bass set up in August 2024, ready to be gigged.

Tested and works really well, both sets of pick ups work, one of the switch toggles is broken and missing, this is a preowned item so it does have signs of age and use, a crack on the body has developed assuming is a wood joint, there are a few dents on neck, a small crack has also developed on head stock by the E-string, no case or box but will ensure proper packaging for a safe transit and delivery upon purchase, please see images

This bass has been refretted with dunlop 6100s and refinished with amber- gunstock color tinted poly.
All electronics and pots are refreshed with 500k cts pots and currently wired as double humbucker setup (Volume - Volume - Tone - Tone) I have all of the original parts which will be included along with original hardcase
