Great guitar in great condition. Plays and sounds really good. Only issues are that the tone knob doesn't work and that there is a hum when your hands aren't touching the strings. Otherwise, it's a really great sounding guitar. It has a short 24" scale and a 50s style neck. It has that really cool green oxidation thing happening to the paint like the old goldtops. Travel back in time with this classic electric guitar. Built by the late great Harmony Company in Chicago, Illinois in early 1965, it's a Harmony Silhouette, model H15. This same model is better known as a Bobkat, which it was renamed as in about 1968.
The four CTS potentiometers have matching date codes (137-6448 for December 1964). The DeArmond Rowe control plate is date stamped January 27, 1965. So, it is from the very heart of the Beatles' inspired Great Guitar Boom
