Sounds great, good volume for home with great tone and all working well. Does not have the footswitch (I believe any standard one would work) but the tremolo is on by default so I simply engage it or remove it using the intensity knob. Stays clean until about 3 / 4 and breaks nicely into a crunch when at top volume, but will not get ultra-saturated with standard output

I found this recently on ebay and two things caught my eye. Firstly the black Marshall logo, and the model designation of Lead 50. Well Marshall made a solid state Lead 100, but not a Lead 50, so what was this amp?

Excellent and highly regarded vintage books on guitar lead and rock playing.
Full of great photos and information, very interesting and informative. Both are complete, well used and far from mint, but good for 50+ years of age. Lots of these books have lost their floppy records but both are present here, both loose and untested.
An excellent learning tool, and a great accompaniment to your 1970s guitars. Pop one in the case with a 72 / 73 guitar.

Here's a c 1973 Ibanez 754 Jumbo, made in Japan. This is a pretty rare model, only made for a couple of years I think (1973-75), in Nagoya. It's a copy of the Gibson Everly Bros as you can see from the characteristic double pickguard and star inlays and dates from the era before Gibson and the others started muscling in on the Japanese market to prevent such blatant 'homages'. Japanese made in the early 1970's, the 2366B was the P-style bass from the Ibanez Silver Series of instruments that famously emulated Fender and Gibson designs.
Solid body with a 3-tone sunburst finish, maple neck with a 20 fret maple neck (41mm nut width), it weighs 4 2kg's. Looks to be all original except for a replacement bridge.
