1969 Gibson EB-0 one owner bass with original custom hard sided case. See pic of original owner with the bass in the early ?70s ! Both the bass and case show wear from decades of use. There are scuffs, scratches, dings, and dents as you would expect. There is a split in the headstock that extends for approximately 7 inches, see photo. 1971 Gibson EB-2D Bass
The serial number is "619435" which dates it to 1970-1972. It has the "Made In USA" on the back of the headstock but no volute. One of the pots also dates to January 1971 (137-7104). The body is in excellent condition overall and there are no major dings. There are some scratches, scuffs and general wear, but pretty remarkable for a vintage guitar. Used beautiful in very good condition I have owned this bass for over 40 years in the late 70??s this bass was refinished and refurbished by Virgil Lay founder of Lays guitar repair in Akron Ohio everything that is on this bass was done in 1978 it has many awesome upgrades a Bartolini split coil muddbucker pick up with two 2 position toggle switches a Badass bridge and Grover tuners. Bass has some finish cracks all over the body. See pic 4, I??ve tried to capture it. Very common for its age. No major blemishes, but not mint condition. Mute still works great, all original pickups still sound like they did in the 60s.

1965-68 Kalamazoo (Gibson) Bass 30 30 watt tub bass amp 210 combo. Everything seems to work dandy, though I personally have not had this serviced and have only used it for short time periods. Regardless vintage American tube bass amp for CHEAP! Plus it??s got a pretty cool old school vibe, and as with my National model 70 and fender bassman amps, guitars sound just dandy through this too. This is an original early 70's Gibson EB-3 Bass husk. The color was originally cherry red, and you can still see cherry on the neck and other areas, but most of the bass has faded to brown. The finish is original. There are nicks, dings, chips, scratches and buckle wear. No cracks. The frets and fingerboard show wear, but nothing out of the ordinary considering the age.
