Unbelievable find!! Everything works perfectly (including projector), has original tubes and covers. There are a few extras, like the projector arms, take-up reel, spare bulbs and springs (see pics). I've cleaned up the covers, which have light discoloration from age, but it's super clean on the inside and functions perfectly as a guitar amp (see video). This was the 40th Hofner Committee to be imported into the UK (serial number 2040) the body is pencil dated 20 10 1953. It has been confirmed as being either a late 1953 or early 1954 import.
Sadly this was part of my dad??s proud collection but unfortunately I??m a left halthough a tough decision, it would be a shame for me to keep it, especially as it is a very playable guitar with great action and tone.
