Vintage guitars for sale: Hagstrom

Hagstrom guitars were made in Sweden throughout the 1960s and 1970s; their fast-playing low action necks gaining them considerable kudos amongst musicians. Mid sixties models such as the HII and HIII are great guitars, but being relatively common have remained affordable. Watch out for sticky switches though! The seventies guitars are quite desireable; the highly-prized Swede is often referred to as a 'Les Paul-killer', and these always sell well.

1960s Hagstrom guitars were also branded Kent (in the US) and Futurama (in the UK).

Models to look out for: early Standard and De Luxe with sparkle finishes (these models go for good money, but are perhaps best reserved for collectors), Viking, Impala, Swede guitar and bass, H-8 eight string bass.

This one is original but has been modified to a hardtail bridge, and the complex switching has been changed to a simple toggle-3 position system. Ich dachte zuerst man könnte dies Hagström Hälse sowohl für Hag I-III als auch für Vikings nutzen. Das ist aber falsch, da die Halstaschen unterschiedliche Lochabstände zu den Schrauben besitzen.
Die letzten Fotos habe ich mit Zollstock fotografiert, sodass man die Masse mit seinem Korpus vergleichen kann

Superb guitar by Kent (On licence from Hagstrom I think) which I believe was manufactured between 1962 - 1964. Guitar plays well and is in full working order. Some small bits of the vinyl covering has been scuffed in a few places and there are two small metal pins near where the neck joins the body of the guitar. The tremolo arm is missing but these can be sourced online now and again. This is a rare guitar and is in great condition for it`s age
