Last year for Matsumoku guitars, this 1987 Spectrum 2 showcases their build for a shredding superstrat guitar. Very low action and heavy metal tone Is just what the doctor ordered. A great player with several bumps and chips as shown in pics but just cosmetic. Very little fretwear on neck. Missing Allen wrenches, locking nut blocks and screws and no trem arm. Weighs in at 8 5lbs. Plays out nicely. Comes with rough OHSC but protects guitar.

Another quality brand made by Matsumoku. Most of these were made by Ibanez (Hoshino) but this is clearly a Matsumoku. Exactly made like a 77 Aria AE-325. Has electronics control board for trouble free sound. This one has plenty of wear and tear but mostly around the body on the with edge finish cracks through the poly including neck pocket. This is a really beautiful clean instrument. This is the ES-335 style thin line body. This come with the cool trapeze style tremelo system. The pick-ups have the staggered 3 and 3 pole pots with nice decorative trim rings. The guitar is all 100 % original and is in good playing condition A true tine capsule. I rarely see this. Very nice Japanese made vintage electric guitar, Matsumoku factory, 1984 sorta time. Been competently stained and refinished at some point a fairly long time ago, and worn in subsequently. Stock MMK pickups with coil splits on the toggles. Fingerboard freshly oiled, frets freshly polished, takes a low action great. has the usual paint cracks in the neck pocket, but there surface only, definetly no cracks to the wood!

This is something you don't see often - a half-century-old and fully operational Aria Diamond 5020 from the Matsumoku factory
Manufactured between 1970-74, the 5020 is a maple hollowbody shortscale (30, 5 " ) with rosewood fingerboard and sunburst finish. Alder body (weighs 3 6kg), Maple neck (650mm 25 5" scale), Bone nut, Standard Synchronised Tremolo , coil tap switch, Cool Protomatic V powerful humbuckers, all chrome hardware.
