This is an original set of 6 Vox Nickel plated guitar tuner bushings. These were found on many (but not all) Vox (Made in Italy) guitars from the mid 60's and into the 70's.

Overall the plate is 2 9 / 16 inches by 1 9 / 16. The measurements from center to center of the screw holes are 1 15 / 16 of an inch by 15 / 16 inch. 1 3 / 4 inch screws.

Rare original Vox / Eko "TONE I" control knob with red indexing dot from the 1960s, as used on Vox Phantom VI and XII guitars made in the UK and Italy, and possibly used on some Bobcat, Lynx, Hurricane, Starstream, and other models as well
The "TONE I" imprint fill is still dark and shows in high contrast against the aluminum base
It measures 7 / 8" in diameter, and 9 / 16" high, and shows normal wear consistent with age

This is a very very rare early production Vox Phantom Mark III ??Prototype?? made in 1965 in England by Jennings Musical Industries with some Rock & Roll celebrity roots. These UK made early guitars are some of the most desirable vintage guitars from the UK. This Teardrop guitar was made famous by Brian Jones of the Stones who played an infamous White 3 pickup Mark VI similar to this Mark III. This neck plate came from a 1962 Vox Ace, made in the UK by JMI, dimensions 2" x 2 3 / 8 " , screw holes roughly 37mm and 47mm Original UK vintage Vox part
JMI Vox used a couple different sized neck plates, this is the bigger size, and may also fit the Vox Soundcaster, Consort, Phantom, Mark etc - check the screw spacing to be sure
Plenty worn - scratches, pitting, tarnishing, but still fully functional, see images.... more
