This guitar is definitely worn. It does play well, but it has many marks and knocks, photographed. The bridge has a tiny amount of lift, though not enough to be of concern. That being said, I'd see this as more of a secondary instrument, or something to start out with, rather than a solid guitar. It will almost certainly need new strings

Hello and welcome to my listing

Beautiful guitar here as you can see by the listing.

Lovely tone and action

Its near on immaculate but has a few marks around but the worst part i cant get the sound to pick up. When you plug it in and turn the pots we get some signal crackles so i'm not sure if the bridge pick up has failed or a wire has come loose and i simply don't have time to rebuild or order parts.

If its been recommended to you ... view on ebay

The legendary ?chainsaw?? fuzz as used by lots of big names. I??ve played lots of clones and the original has a presence and clarity to my ears that no modern pedal quite reaches. Really aggressive but somehow very musical at full tilt, roll back the guitar volume and you??ve got furry mellow stoner fuzz and synth-like bass. I love this pedal but I have another so this is spare. This one has been treated to fresh wiring, footswitch, pots (so it looks) and jacks. More reliable as the old 70s ... view on ebay

Used kimbara accoustic guitar. This item is scuffed and has several dents. The worse one is to the left of the soundhole. There is a smaller one on the rear of the neck although these do not effect the sound quality of the instrument. This instrument is 30 - 40 years old and would make a good cheap guitar for a learner. Recently restrung. Buyer collects.... view on ebay

I bought this many years ago from ebay. It was described as a 1970's Kimbara Stratocaster with Fender decals; the decals and neck plate were added by the previous owner so I have no provenance as to its Kimbara origins, although it appears to be the same as other natural finish Kimbara strats I have seen advertised. These were built in the 1970s by Fujigen. It is very heavy for a Strat and has quite a few chips, scratches and marks on the body. It would appear that the tuners have been replaced ... view on ebay

*excuse the socks Vintage Kimbara was pedal by Shin-Ei. These are rare Japanese effects pedals from 70s. Has that classic warm vintage sound without with a very musical sweep. Perfect for the funk thing as demonstrated. This had been unused for a long time and the potentiometer was quite noisy, but a little contact cleaner has sorted that out. Could maybe do with some rubber feet for stability. Happy to post or collection from Sheffield, UK. Can also negotiate delivery. This is part of a ... view on ebay

Here is a beautiful Japanese classical made in 1977 by Suzuki Violin Co. branded 'Kimbara' for UK export. The model 25 / Z was one of the top models of the year. Spec'd with Jacaranda (Brazilian Rosewood), cedar top, butterfly rosette and GoToh tuners
Suzuki made a solid top version of this guitar and a double plate version (two pieces of bonded solid wood, for crack resistance) and as you can see from the rear photo, this one is double plate. Sounds great and was one of my first purchases ... view on ebay

Kimbara 305 / X Acoustic Guitar 6-String Dreadnought Spruce RH Natural... view on ebay

The well-known 'Kimbara' was a brand name used by FCN England and was applied to the many guitars they imported in the 1970's. They tended to use the best Japanese makers of the time and this model was a flagship model styled on the Martin D35 / 45
I thought I wanted a 12-string but I found I never play it, preferring my 6er
It's in generally very good condition but does a few minor blemishes, but these do not affect the sound or the playing of it, which is easy and full
