This listing is for one (1) CBS era Fender Bigsby vibrato tailpiece. This is an original CBS era part as noted by the string mounting pins. In the mid 70's Bigsby changed the string pin design from the original Paul Bigsby design through the bar style with set screw, to a cheaper spring pin stuck in to the tail piece. What is interesting about the original Paul Bigsby design is you can remove the set screws and pins and use it string through. Then put back if you feel so inclined.

This is a small body guitar with a Gibson 24 1 / 2" scale length, from around 1964. It's in really good shape for its age. Typical Teisco grade fit and finish, strat -style headstock. I just put a set of extra slinky strings on in it now please and sounds rather nice. The very unusual pick up with triangle pole pieces sounds warm, like a mini humbucker. This listing is for one set of six (6) Single line Kluson's from a 1961 Duo Sonic. Will also fit Musicmaster's. The nickel plate is oxidized. Some turn smooth, some are a little loose, but not skipping. I suspect by the differing patina on the buttons, this guitar had a couple changed along the way. Good, solid original buttons. This listing is for one (1) pickup out of a 1978 Strat. The date code places it at a 4th week of 1978 manufacture. The owner was not happy with the tone of his brand new Strat, so he immediately sent the bridge pickup out to Seymour Duncan to be "Seymourized " . Listed is a 1970 H6365 Harmony Guitar. The top back and sides are solid mahogany. It has been redone. The finish is lacquer that sounds wonderful. The neck has been re-set allowing a very low action. The bridge was replaced from the original, adjustible bridge with plastic saddle with a Martin style bridge and new bone saddle with enough room to allow the new owner to tailor the string height to their liking. This listing is for one (1) Stratocaster Pickup cover. This came off a 1959 Fender Stratocaster. This is a 3 mold mark style which was found from late 1954-1960. Very dull, no gloss at all. Might have been cleaned with an abrasive at some point. Like most heavily used stock covers from this particular era, this has a chalky, discolored look. 3 mold marks are very hard to find. Sellers usually sell later 2 mold mark styles as older than they are. Sold as is.

This listing is for one (1) pickguard off a 1977 Music Man Sting Ray Bass I parted out years ago. This original pickguard had a thumbrest added to it at some point in its life. Otherwise, it is stock. Holes have been filled, but are still visible. I held on to this thinking about making a template so I never had to buy one again. This listing is for a celluloid pearloid sheet from the estate of Maudie Moore. Maudie was a Kalamazoo resident that began working for Gibson in the 1960's and went on to being a self employed subcontractor in the 1970's for Gibson and a number of other brands.

This listing is for a pair of two (2) dome knobs from an old Schecter Telecaster wire harness. The pots were dated coded 1979. I long since sold the harness, but the knobs laid around for a long time as the set screws were stripped out and seized. I brought them with a number of other items to a local machine shop to get sorted out. They extracted the screws and preserved the original threads. This listing is for one (1) of Gibson "reflector" Volume knob from the early 60's. This has the "short shaft" that allow the knob to slip down over the mounting nut and the skirt buts up against the face. The older knobs have a taller shaft that seats the knob high up, resting on the mounting nut. This has a nice patina and discolor. The gold on the rear has greened. The metal cap is scratched, but lettering is still visible. The clear has aged to a transparent amber. Last picture shows it black... more
