This guitar has been hanging in our shop for about a decade. It is a great looking Silvertone Mosrite style - 319 14409. Made in Japan and probably dates from the late 1960s. As most guitars from this era, it made need a bit of luthier knowledge and tweeking to get it playing like it should. To be clear, all electronics, pickups, switches etc are working great. This is a vintage 1966 Mosrite Joe Maphis Mark XII with a Natural finish. Mosrite had a long relationship with Joe Maphis, a country guitarist known for his flashy, virtuosic style. Maphis was eventually given his own model, which has a lot in common with the Mosrite "Combo " , but instead has no F-holes. Vintage 1966 Mosrite Celebrity III with hard shell victoria case. I purchased the guitar from the second or third owner and I believe that it is all original except the tuners, which I upgraded to a new set of Klusons (the old one are included along with a set of new bushings and screws). I dated the guitar as from 1966 from the pots. The frets are worn, but still very playable (they were probably low to begin with) and everything works as it should (the guitar is set up with 10's). This listing is for one set of six (6) Double line Kluson's with "Safe-T" posts, or "split shafts " . These were found primarily on Mosrite guitars, but also appeared on a few other brands on the mid 60's. This set has very nice plating. They still have most of bright nickel plating still present. On minor dulling. . All turn smooth and firm. However, they are what they are, old Kluson's. Lovely original set of Grovers as found on Martin & Mosrite guitars from 1961-64, and were even on the D28S of the early 70??s. So rare to find a whole set. All in good working order. Three have slightly bent buttons, that will likely bend back to 90 degrees in a vice or such but I??m not going to attempt it. It doesn??t stop them working

An well loved and very vibey Morales branded "Mosrite Ventures" model made by Zen-on in the 1960's. These were a very high end model at the time and were built to be much more serious guitars than a lot of the Guyatone and Teisco builds of the same era.
