Vintage floating bridge. The saddle part is from a late 1950s Hofner Senator President or Congress (maybe others). It is dark ebonized maple and marked 02 on the underside. The base is made of rosewood, so a lighter redder brown. The two parts don't exactly match, but they fit and work well

Original German made Hofner President semi acoustic guitar. Well used condition having had a few repairs in its life including a significant headstock repair at some point. I suspect that the bridge is non-original and there are some sticker shadows on the top. This is quite a rare model as a President and having a thin line body. No case. Beautiful Hofner President guitar - I had some holes made by some Atari pick ups (put in the 60s) professionally restored. Its back to its original accoustic state. The neck is straight amd the guitar plays comfortably with quite a low action amd deep C cup neck. There is still the jack plug input in at the bottom and the wiring is tucked inside if you want to add a pick up - i have included the Atari pick ups and a Hofner president scratch plate that i never attached. In great shape for a 64yr old guitar, condition is consistent with a well kept vintage instrument showing honest age related wear with no signs of warping, shrinking, cracks or visible repairs. 1965 Hofner President in superb condition. Looks gorgeous, amazing build, plays amazingly well with a fast low action and appears to be all original. It really does play beautifully.
This is the Thinline version from 1965 in great shape with no signs of warping, cracking, shrinking or repairs etc.
