Very cool and extremely rare model from Hofner. Rare acoustic archtop with sharp cutaway. It plays easy and sounds very good! It's in excellent condition. Not mint, but very clean overall. Just the lightest traces of use but is a great example and is complete with hard case etc

Hi guys, here for sale is my gorgeous classic Horner acoustic guitar. From the 50-60??s Beatles era, this guitar is iconic
It??s had some repair work done to the fretboard and neck by a professional luthier
Lots a wear and tear signs that i decided not to refurbish as I preferred the relic look

1965 Hofner President in superb condition. Looks gorgeous, amazing build, plays amazingly well with a fast low action and appears to be all original. It really does play beautifully.
This is the Thinline version from 1965 in great shape with no signs of warping, cracking, shrinking or repairs etc.
A superb vintage Hofner ready to play.
Collection only from Southampton area, happy to meet part way, I also have a few other vintage guitars and amps listed.

1950s Hofner president, well used from the 50s-90s, a well looked after and very much played and loved guitar Has had a pickup fitted in the mid 60s, used in bigbands and small jazz bands in its life from new. Genuine very rare stamped 1960's Hofner guitar tail piece
In very nice original condition. There are a few age marks etc but they no doubt add to the charm. I have added front and back photos so please look carefully as they make up the main description. I haven't tried to clean it and sure it would come up very nicely but it isn't the done thing today so have left as is for the buyer to choose how to clean. I don't know the make of the pickup, it is stuck to the inside top of the guitar (like a K&K style), it is a very effective passive pickup and give great volume and reproduction of sound)... more

Vintage floating bridge. The saddle part is from a late 1950s Hofner Senator President or Congress (maybe others). It is dark ebonized maple and marked 02 on the underside. The base is made of rosewood, so a lighter redder brown. The two parts don't exactly match, but they fit and work well
