1960'S Japanese 2 pickup electric guitar. The Kent brand was made by Teisco. This one has the nicks and scratches it should have for it's ageHas a 5 / 8 lg. piece of side neck binding missing along with it's whammy bar. The volume knob is nonoriginal and was originally a white knob. It was painted to match the other one, This might be a Kent Vegas 530 model or a Lido 531. I can't be sure. Has a chrome pickguard. Looks to be all original (except washer in tremolo arm pivot) Very clean, with fairly close action, strong clear pickups, all works excellent. Frets show some wear @ first 3 but not bad and the rest, very little wear. Has back scratches from use and the usual minor marks and scratches. It has been played but not abused. Decent condition Kent Basin Street bass guitar. Model 534. The neck, which has a non-adjustable truss rod, is very hefty, but does have a bit of relief. It still plays decent with a higher action. Maybe since the neck is removable it could be shimmed, I do not know sold as is. I have shown the action height at both the 3rd and 9th fret. For sale is a Kent Model 740 Guitar Vintage Sunburst 1960's in Fair Condition - A lot of cosmetic wear on guitar- Truss rod opening has been widened for easier access - truss rod was reworked. It turns tight but it is functional and neck is straight - I tried to get a good picture of the back of the neck, but there was a split in the back of the neck in the skunk stripe.
