An early bowl or melon back mandolin. Tag and head stock marks this as a Kent. In overall good used condition with some wear. Strings will likely need replacing. Some wear and marking to the face. The MOP inlays look good. Nice overall.

It's a Kent Polaris I electric guitar. Made by Guyatone in Japan in the mid-1960s. There's a famous photo of a teenage Bruce Springsteen playing this same model of guitar (while wearing a pair of too-cool-for-school boots). This guitar has been tested and the electronics play just fine. The body has severe lacquer cracking on front and back and appears to have some binder issues as you can see in the photos above. The neck is straight. Very rare guitar. Was aired out due to heavy cigarette smoke odor

Selling this vintage NOS Kent WC-16 Archtop Guitar Pickup. It is in good working condition. It is missing the plastic knobs and the instrument cable. The volume pot is slightly scratchy from sitting so long, but it still works really good. I used an 1 / 8" x 1 / 4" adapter cord to test it on an old Silvertone archtop guitar

Great guitar if you want something in the vein of a vintage LP but don't want to spend $4k and have it weigh 13lbs. This one is surprisingly clean throughout. No major dings. Some yellowing in the binding and patina on the metal bits. Works perfectly. Low action, straight neck, frets look great, electronics are clean. Just polished the frets, conditioned the fretboard, and restrung with D'Addario 10s. Case has lots of wear and is pretty flimsy. But it's original to the guitar. Ships to lower 48.... more

I know nothing about banjos. This is actually the first banjo I have ever handled. It's not easy to find information on these early Kent instruments. I believe this to have been made in the 60's in Japan. It has four strings and 20 frets with a beautiful wooden resonator, which I think is walnut. The fingerboard appears to be rosewood with pearloid block inlays and the hardware is gold. The neck is bound as is the resonator and it also has beautiful purfling encircling it. Really fun guitar from the Matsumoku factory. Two single-coils, floating adjustable bridge with thumbwheels, Bigsby-style trem, bound neck. Works great up til the 17th fret, at which point it starts to fret out. That will need to be addressed if you plan to play that high. The 3rd and 6th string tuners are missing the ferrules. Vintage Kent Strat Style Relic. I believe this was made in the early / mid 80's Probably japan / korea. Very well made, much different than a lot of today's imports. Little bit of neck relief present, with 5 original flat-wound strings still intact with all that beautiful tone, only the high E has been replaced. This is a Kent Videocaster from 1964 (I think) that's what I was told when I got it about 10 years ago and a quick Google search of that year seems to bring up very similar looking guitars
I think it's slightly unusual in having the 'Kent' script logo on the headstock, all of the others I've seen have a large gold-coloured K logo. Also unusual(ish) in still having the whammy, as some were taken off
