Model: S-1
Label was removed at some point, but all the characteristics point to the S-1 model. (Inlayed purfling, purfling around F-holes, ebony fingerboard and tailpiece )

good action straight neck and tons of fun to play. Everything works as it should and truss rod only tightens. No adjustments required. Bass plays great and ready to go . Kay KB-24 sunburst bass body. It's a PB style bass body. Year unknown. Fair few dings and scratches all shown. Will include the neck plate and ashtray bridge cover. There are additional screw holes where a modern PB style scratch plate was attached. These are covered by the original or vice versa
Scratchplate included with pickups. It's not currently soldered into the ground wire or attached though. There's a broken screw in where the pickups go that you can work around. Electrics all work ... more

Kay 70s Les Paul Copy MIJ. In fair condition, has just had a new set of Daddario 9s fitted. Has some marks and dings as you??d expect for a guitar of this age. All working, action is good and all electrics are working well. Slight crack in one of the tuning keys but still works fine.

Old Kay bass does seem to work ok and as you can see it??s pretty beat up so you might want to give it some tlc , please have a good look at the many photos as the condition and if your happy buy it and i will even post it to your home address, but I will not post to Argos or the like as they often refuse large parcels.
