Vintage guitars for sale: Newcastle

Here is my 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Tobacco burst with 81 / 85 EMG pickups, genuine TP-6 fine tuner tailpiece and original vintage case.
This thing is dripping in mojo with its ?well used but not abused?? genuine play wear / patina, and sounds like an absolute beast thanks to the active EMG pickups.
Frets are of the low & wide variety that this era of Gibson are known for, freshly polished with a silky smooth ebony fingerboard and low action?? this thing plays like butter. ... more

Here is my 1959 ES125T, this stunning vintage guitar is a brilliant players grade piece of history.
Unfortunately, the hardware and electronics aren??t original- modern gold Kluson tuners, vintage genuine Gibson trapeze tailpiece in gold, modern strap lock buttons, unknown but possibly boutique? P90 pickup & pots.
There is also a gloss black pickguard to go with this (not photo??d).

1978 Marshall JMP Mk2 Master Model 100W Lead valve head
I??ve owned this amp since 1989. During that time, the only part replaced has been the fuse holder. The knobs have also been changed, but a number of the original knobs are included in the sale. Aside from that, it has remained as it has throughout my ownership

This very rare Smith Mel O bar Guitar was designed by Walt Smith in 1967 to be a lapsteel (45 degree neck) so it can be played standing up like a Guitar. This Encore Bass is not quite what it seems .It may have Encore written on the Headstock but the body parts of the Guitar are in fact Japanese made in the late 1970's by the same factories that made Jedson's and then put together in the early 80's, giving it that Matsumoko look inspired by a 60's Burns!
Its a shortscale bass and with a Curvy Sounds Set up, it is now playing so beautifully, with a sweet full voice that makes the high notes ring out as sweet as the low bass notes boom!

A vintage Selmer Hawaiian Lap Steel, I believe it??s 1950s or 60s. It??s fully working and by all means ready to play
The screw holes for the brass plate have been filled and redrilled so that the screws have considerably better grip, as the plate takes a lot of string tension!
Electronics have been cleaned up. The patented pickup is really interesting, I believe it uses individual coils for each pole, so its kind of like 6 pickups combined as one. It sounds really good

A very fine set of brass and bone guitar tuners from the mid to late 19th century. These are well made, the brass plate is much thicker than that of most late 19th century manufactured guitar tuners. The decorative patterns look like they have been engraved or punched by hand rather than etched. They have the much less common 30mm pole spacing. The brass needs polishing but other than that they are fully functional and turn smoothly
