Here's a great playing 1976 Gibson Marauder electric guitar - dark burgundy in original hard case. I bought this second hand. Here's what I know about it.
Plays great, sounds great, electronics all work fine. There are various nicks, scuffs, dings etc commensurate with a played instrument that's almost 50 years old. This came from the bridge position of a 1976 Gibson Marauder. Reads 2 45 (that's correct for these) ohms on my meter. I can't guarantee that it will read the same on yours, but I do guarantee that it works as it should. The wires appear to have been spliced / extended. Same wire is used. This guard came off of a 1980 Marauder. It has lots of pick scratches. There's a chip at one corner and a crack at another corner. The guard still held firmly to the guitar that it was on. A couple of screws are not original and there are a couple that are missing

This came off of a 1976 Gibson Marauder guitar. I think they used the same bodies on S-1 and Marauder, but please do your own research there. Also, Gibson used different placements for the pickup switch / blend pot in different years, and that could affect the body cavities . This body has a matte finish, and it's possible that someone may have buffed it lightly in order to de-gloss it at some point. Or maybe it left the factory like this, I really don't know.
