First, this guitar is over 50 years old. It sounds beautiful, warm and bright, really amazing. Strings are old but it still holds tune perfect. Hard to let it go, but personal reasons force possible sale. Action is low. It's been loved it's whole life, very good condition. Please see all pics. A few bumps and light scratches. The bridge has been replaced by previous owner, but a good job there. No other repairs that I can see. The case is a Larivee and fit is perfect.

Selling my Rare 1966 Yamaha FG-150 green label. This guitar is incredibly rare when it comes to Yamaha acoustic guitars. The green label predates the infamous red label series that started being produced in 1967. Yamaha started producing the FG line in October of 1966, this guitar was built in December of 1966. I bought is from the original owner 11 years ago and has been enjoyed ever since. I Just had the neck reset and truss rod replaced so will be great for many years to come.

Here we have a c. 1980 Taiwan FG-340 dreadnought with the three-piece rosewood and dark (faux ebony) back. All laminates, as was the case for all but the professional models. Nice player, and in fact action might even be a little low for an aggressive player (barely 1 / 16??). Very nice tone, with rich bottom end. So, going by the serial number, it appears that it was the first run of the model in 1977 and it points to 3rd March of that year. I may be wrong on that though so we will just say it is a 1977 model

You can see by the serial number that this guitar was made in Japan (only for the Japanese market at the time) in the fall of 1966, one of the very first FG-150's made. It's in amazing condition for a nearly-sixty year old instrument. The action on it is like the day it was made. There has been no work done on the bridge or nut.
