Vintage Wilson guitar, all original.
I couldn??t find much about the model, or about bell, if you have any info please let me know, I??d appreciate that. Till then, I assume it is a rare model made by Wilson for the Bell brand.

It is a beautiful, compact 7 / 8 scale guitar, very light and comfortable. Made with solid wood, and with really good quality parts. Very nice condition

Watkins rapier 33 in red with hard case in good condition for its age, fret spouts need smoothing as I believe it to have been re fretted at some point, there are some marks around the fret dots and the paint work which is original has the marbling or finish checking effect that vintage guitars usually get, there is also the marbling effect or finish checking on the back of the neck which is also typical of the vintage guitars, the only part that is not original is one of the control knobs is ... more

Watkins Rapier 22 original 1960's Serial No 7632Condition as described it's been restored in past with re- painted body & replacement machine heads in fitting with classic vintage look. the electrics seems to work okay on sound tested on small amp, it seems to play reasonable for age the frets are fair but may need some replacement as some are worn in places, there is a small ding on one of the pickups and small hairline crack in paint to side of the neck pocket body shown in photo however ... more

It's a little tired condition wise ,the lacquer is very checked all over and there are many marks , scuffs , indents and ageing

Here we have a rare, set neck Watkins Rapier. All original as far as I can tell, and still playing beautifully, complete with original tremolo arm
These are great British Guitars, and still very playable
I bought this for a recording project as it has it's own unique sounds if you dig deep, and a period approach to the controls that is as cool as it is quirky
