These are rims I made from some of the leftover wood pieces I have accumulated. I end up with a bit more block material than I use in the rims I make, and over time it piles up, and I need the space. This rim is 12" x 5 / 8" thick x 2-3 / 4" high. There are four tiny holes in the bottom of each rim which can be plugged, or I always use a rim cap anyway which covers them. late 1800s Banjo 5-String Ernest Hammig? NYC wall decor or to restore 34 " . There's no stamp mark but likely a Hammig banjo from the late 1800s. Seems he did that kind of curve neck. Inlaids. Missing 3 hooks. The vellum had a tear. Used archival clear matte tape on the underside to keep stable. No keys or strings. There are 30 hooks and as mentioned 3 are missing.
