A Selmer Treble n Bass 50 amp with Selmer 'David' speaker cabinet. As can be seen from the photos both units are in nice clean, very original condition. Both units are in good working order. If you're a guitarist do not be put off by the 18" speaker, it is a full range driver that can also be used for PA use and so has a frequency response that easily accommodates an electric guitar - it does not lack 'top'. A very rare opportunity to purchase what is a 'Holy Grail' amp to many and also the identical model to that which Mark Knopfler played 'Sultans of Swing' on - a 1963 Fender Vibrolux
Fender produced these only between 1961-63, with the 'Brownface' series amps following the 'tweed' period, just before they started using black tolex. The very best, in my opinion.
The tube chart reads 'MJ', comfortably putting the date of manufacture as October 1963.
