Here is my 1964 Selmer Constellation 2x12 amplifier , Croc Skin period , fully serviced and recapped by Mac Amps Leeds and had minimal studio use in the past two years . Has the original R&A blue framed 12?? speakers, the amp is fully working and the original covering , Crocskin skin and speaker cloth is in excellent condition . comes with a hot covers protective cover . a real piece of rock n roll history, sorry to see it go but needs a new home now ..... more

It's unclear how many (or how few?) of these cabinets Selmer made in the late 60s or early 70s and they are not listed in catalogues of the period. I've gone right through the Vintage Hofner site to see if there is any mention of them and there isn't. The only other one I'm aware of was listed a few years ago by a dealer in vintage gear who described it as sounding "truly special " . A Selmer Treble n Bass 50 amp with Selmer 'David' speaker cabinet. As can be seen from the photos both units are in nice clean, very original condition. Both units are in good working order. This amp was bought as a project and has been reconstructed with receipt of the work done. Due to the condition it was in and parts it has been rebuilt from 100watt to 50watt but this doesn't affect the classic sound. The tremelo effect sounds great (Bo Diddley / Link Wray tones).
