This is a beautiful Gretsch Tennessean from 1964 I believe and NOT a reissue. Everything looks to be original including the case. This guitar plays like butter and has that sweet jangly tone of a vintage gretsch and that nasty rock-a-billy kick. She screams with the best. The neck is on the thicker side (but not chunky) and just feels like home in your hands. This is a Gretsch 6119 Tennessean 1963 model with the original case . The same year model that George Harrison played I just had the guitar set up with new strings . Low action neck is straight. Comes with some of the original paper work Serial number 57148 . 1968 Gretsch Tennessean Bass case -- made in USA
+ grey silver tolex, has a lot of wear, some rips and material missing(mostly around the edges)
+ bottom of case is at stap button a bit loose
+ trim around the edges is also worn and has some rips
+ gaffa tape glue on top end
+ all latches work fine, but are rusty
+ handle has wear
+ brown interior, has also some worn spots
+ super hard to find !
