Vintage guitars for sale: Gibson Barney Kessel

Barney Kessel was a jazz guitar legend. And the Gibson Barney Kessel was a jazz guitar fit for such a legend. Only produced in small numbers in the 1960s and early 1970s, as part of Gibson's 'Artist Series'; finding a Gibson Barney Kessel for sale is not always easy. But they really are superb guitars, revered amongst musicians and guitar collectors. There were two variants, both pretty similar in playability, but with differing levels of 'bling': the Barney Kessel Regular, and (with gold-plated hardware) the Barney Kessel Custom. There were several good-quality Barney Kessel-style copies produced (primarily in Japan) in the early 1970s, and many of these are pretty good guitars too. But none come close to a real Gibson Barney Kessel. If you are in the market for a full-body electric acoustic Jazz guitar and find one available near you, check it out!
