My Dad bought this in 57' when he came from the Korean War. In 1998 (1 year after his death ) I found this guitar, that I learned to play on hanging from a nail under a roof leak. This is a 1957 Fender Tweed Tremolux amplifier in excellent working condition. I had this amp gone through by Amp Guys out of Sanford Florida. I am including their repair receipt. Sounds great with no technical problems. The tweed has wear from being 67 years old. Clean sound at low volume with a very nice crunch when driven. This has a 12" Tone Tubby brown sound speaker. A beautiful example of a naturally worn 50's Fender in a classy finish, Desert Sand. This early version of the student model guitar from Fender has the anodized pickguard to match the class of the finish. This 1957 ES125 is in very good condition albeit with some wear and tear you might expect from a vintage guitar. All original parts as far as I can tell except for the volume and tone buttons. Lovely original P90 pickup that gives it that jazz / blues tone. Sounds wonderful through a Fender Princeton or similar amp.
