Here's a rare version only made for a half year from late 1982 to early 1983. It's was a standard Jazz bass but with dots instead of blocks but still with the curved rosewood veneer type fingerboard and binding. The feel of the neck on these basses is more like the early AVRI 62 Jazz bass reissue of the same period. It's a great feeling neck and the bass plays and sounds great. This is a 1978 Fender fretless Precision bass. Light weight Alder body in Walnut finish (I also see this color called Mocha) with Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard. Bass has nicks / dings / scratches and a extra screw hole near the thumb rest but overall it is still in very good cosmetic condition. Vor mehr als 15 Jahren habe ich diesen Bass vom Erstbesitzer gekauft. Der Bass wurde viel gespielt (siehe Bild von der linken Halsseite!) und funktioniert auch heute noch wunderbar, die Bünde sind noch lange nicht abgespielt. Genuine 1975 Fender USA solid ash P bass body, left-handed. The body has aged to a lovely natural warm satin honey colour finish, has buckle rash on the back and in general roadworn condition

Fender Precision, olympic white, made in USA 1978. If you're going to buy a P, why not do it properly, right? This creamy character has seen a few things over the decades, but it's aged pretty gracefully overall.
