I have owned this bass since 1986. I bought it at a pawn shop in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. Since then it has gigged once. In 2013. Otherwise it has been in my home studio getting played very occasionally. It's in really excellent condition especially for an instrument this old. 1978 Fender Musicmaster Bass (Short Scale) 100% original, nothing changed or messed about with. As can be seen from the photos the paint work has seen better days and there's a couple of marks on the neck, couple of screws missing and the thumb block is long gone. I've owned it for around 35 years, it's been all around the world with me but seldom played in the last 10 years.

Good condition, plays great. The odd mark here and there as expected for a used instrument. There are two small screw holes near the bridge where a thumb rest was previously fitted. Lovely vintage 1978 made in USA Fender Musicmaster short scale bass guitar. As you can see from the photos it is well loved but plays and sounds beautiful. Currently string with Labella flats and has an aftermarket 4 pole pickup that sounds very full and more P like than the weaker guitar pickup these would have came with.
