This tenor banjo has been professionally restored.
When I originally acquired it the neck and split laterally across the heel because, so I learned later, the neck was not original to the instrument. With some luthier magic, the split was repaired, and the neck altered slightly at the joint to fit the pot properly. Add in a replacement tailpiece (no cover despite the pics) and it is ready to go. Vega 19 fret tenor banjo, all original except for one hook and nut, note damage to the edge of the resonator. Excellent original finish but neck does have a slight forward bow. Nice mid 1980s fender sidekick reverb 25 Amp works as it should reverb pedal is broken and you get no reverb. The pedal is integrated into the amp. Reverb dose work.
