For sale: 1964 Vox AC30 combo. This is the grey panelled T version (treble not Top-boost) with the six controls instead of eight. I purchased this from ?the Vox man?? in Norwich in the early 1990s and have used it in all the bands I have played in since then. As the pictures show, it has been used and giggled a lot, but this also means it has been looked after to play and sound as good as it can, in complete working order. 1964 Hofner Committee semi acoustic arch top guitar. Beautiful blonde natural finish with gorgeous Birds Eye maple back and sides, and spruce top, and mother of pearl binding. Lots of checking and blemishes. Heavy checking and dings on front of guitar and top of headstock. Totally overhauled electrics, now all working perfectly. Ebony fretboard. Plays and sounds amazing. Very rare 1960s maton electric hand made 99% original only thing that has been changed is tuning keys amd the original one are in the case. Comes with the original timber case. The case is a bit beat up on the out side but it has done its job as the purple valvet interior is in perfect condition as it the guitar. Im the 2nd owner and have kept it safe and clean for well over a decade now but the time has come for someone else to enjoy this amazing peice of history.... more
