Vintage guitars for sale: Supro

A very rare little amp that ive decided to let go. Fully functional and works great. Own a piece of supro history! So rare its hard to find info on this amp. From my research they were only made for a few years in the early 50??s. This 6 watter measures about 9 5x9 5x6. Previous owner had it serviced and a 3 prong added. 8 inch speaker. But looks all original, even the tubes.

This is a very cool piece of music history, it??s a mid 1900??s tube amplifier. It??s in the great Red / Black color way it comes as pictured it??s in very good shape overall it comes with a vintage cord as well. It is sold as is, the fuse is good, but I think it needs a few new tubes. But I??m not 100% sure so it??s sold as is and will need to be looked at.

A true time capsule and collector's piece. This Valco made guitar was unsold store stock when the collection owner bought out a shop that was going out of business. It has been sitting in the case since then. It includes the original case, hang tag, warranty card, and case packing paper

Works great. Ax7s are unmatched. One vintage RCA and one General Electric. Power tubes are Sylvania.
I added a quarter inch output for the speaker cables because I occasionally used a load box (attenuator) for the extra tube distortion. If you want mine, you can have it for another $100. It??s a very reputable brand I can??t remember the name and it??s been in storage. I will retrieve it and add it to the listing.

The body and neck are in good condition for it's age. The pickup is working but cuts out occasionally
One of the wires connected to the pot is taped on. The output volume is low very low and has microphonic feedback. It might be a simple issue that could be fixed by rewiring the pots and pickup.
The wiring is hanging out of the back cavity since the original cover is missing. It's also missing one of the strap screws and the original bridge cover.

Picked up a pile of vintage amp covers recently, mostly NOS, half unbranded and half Gibson. There were also 3 of these covers, 1 with the Artistic label but no labels on the other 2. Artistic Products Co. made them with and without labels and they??re the same felt lined canvas material, design and construction.

This 1962 Supro 1696TN guitar amp is in good shape. Original 15* Jensen 1962 C15P speaker sounds awesome. Approximately 25 watts from 2x 6L6 power tubes. Does clean nice. Chrome face plate is good with all knobs and lettering intact with some natural wear and tear from the 1960's
I bought this amp for $1800 a couple of years back from MainDrag Music in Brooklyn. Footswitch + all knobs / switches work well. Glass tubes are fairly new as well and was replaced not long ago

The following lising is for a Vintage 1960's Supro Statesman S6699 guitar amplifier head that requires restoration to get rockin again. This model has two channels, one with Tremelo and Reverb as well as two parallel output transformers and a beefy power transformer.
